MEMSIC (IDM)
MEMSIC is the world's leading provider of inertial MEMS sensors and solutions. It was established in 1999 and is currently headquartered in Tianjin, China. It was listed on Nasdaq in 2007 and is the world's first MEMS stock.
MEMSIC has built an 8-inch MEMS magnetic and inertial sensor packaging and testing production line in Wuxi. In July 2021, according to the announcement of the Shaoxing Binhai New Area Management Committee, MEMSIC will build a MEMS magnetic sensor production line and an acceleration sensor process development experimental line in Shaoxing. The production line is expected to produce 600 million MEMS chips per year.
